Job Description Summary
Summer Tennis Instructor will work during the Penn Tennis Center camps. Serve as ambassador for Penn Tennis Center through promotion of summer camp and fall programs.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Teaching tennis to junior tennis players of all levels. Following game plans developed by tennis center manager for summer camp program
- Assist with student check-in and registration. In charge of setting up all camp equipment each morning. As well as clean-up of equipment at the end of the day.
- Serve as camp counselor. Helping with organizing campers throughout the day. Maintaining a safe and fun camp environment. Also helping assistant manager with lunch preparation and clean up.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will hold either PTR/USPTA certification and/or play collegiate tennis. Current and former high school tennis players are also eligible and/or individuals that have had experience working with children. Must be a self-starter, an energetic personality, and enjoy working with children.
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Summer Tennis Instructors may be required to arrive for an early drop off 8:00am and/or stay for late pick-up from 3:00-6:00pm.
