Physical Requirements

This position will require sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods performing repetitive motions such as typing. Perform work in a sedentary position; report to meetings at different locations both on campus and off campus; travel outside the local area for training; and work successfully with a team and independently.

Shift

The expectation is primarily day shift Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, however as an exempt-level position, some evening, nights and weekends will be required as needed to perform job duties. This is a hybrid position.

Job Summary

The University of Kentucky's Healthcare IT department at the University of Kentucky is currently searching for an ITSM Analyst to manage the enterprise-level ITSM platform, ServiceNow. Alongside platform administration, the role entails the development of modules for enterprise-wide use. As part of your responsibilities, you will oversee and enhance the Event Management module within ServiceNow, ensuring its smooth operation in monitoring and managing IT events and alerts. Moreover, you will actively contribute to the creation and upkeep of custom scripts, business rules, and integrations to improve the platform's capabilities and address unique business requirements.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will have skills in MS Office Suite, Web Services/ API, Object Oriented Programming.
