The Opportunity
The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for multiple full-time, 9-month, tenure-earning assistant professor positions. The positions are anticipated to be located on the UCF Orlando campus. The positions will be in either the Department of Nursing Systems or the Department of Nursing Practice and are expected to begin Fall 2023.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Nursing from an accredited institution by the date of hire, or a research doctorate in a related discipline from an accredited institution with an earned master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, by date of hire.
- Eligible for RN licensure in Florida and compact states.
- Research and scholarly activity focused on simulation and immersive technology, environment/climate change, healthy aging, mental health, population health, healthcare for emerging space industry, informatics, or big data analytics. Other research areas will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Record of research and extramural funding commensurate with rank.
- Publication record commensurate with rank.
- Record of teaching and service commensurate with rank.
- Experience in online course instruction.
