Account Management Specialist

The Account Management Specialist is critical to Legacy’s mission and continued growth. The primary responsibilities of the Account Management Specialist are to provide product knowledge support to customers and business partners through inbound calls and e-mail, manage account maintenance and setup, assist with order entry management, and more. The Account Management Specialist will be looked upon as a team leader, and frequently supports the Sales Management and Order Entry teams with reporting and troubleshooting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain business partner accounts and records.
- Establish, document, and maintain departmental standard operating procedures.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and business partners to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide exceptional customer support by answering incoming calls to Legacy (product information, price and availability, warranty information, freight, distribution information, pricing issues, order status inquiries, reception, and more).
- Manage Legacy Sales, Compressor, and Flexzilla Info Outlook inboxes to address customer questions, concerns, and needs.
- Assist Order Entry Team to process customer purchase orders which includes resolving price discrepancies and other purchase order related issues.
- Remain current on Legacy product knowledge and participate in continuing education opportunities to learn about new product management.
- Partner with Sales Managers on product quote updates and maintain quotes and quote expirations in SAP.
- Process credit card payments for repair parts and order entry.
- Partner with Sales Managers on representative and business partner communications for new product information, promotions, legacy news, and more.
- Check and process daily incoming physical mail to Legacy Manufacturing.
- Additional tasks as assigned by Customer Order Success Manager
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related/relevant field or 2 years related work experience required.
- Must be organized while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to complete a multitude of tasks at a quick pace to meet company and departmental requirements and goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to providing exemplary customer support required.
- Candidates must possess proficiencies in Microsoft Suite and be technologically literate or advanced.
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One preferred, but not required.
