Job Summary

Coordinates, plans, and administers all student operational support and activities associated with the FIU student success courses. Assists the Student Success Course team with enrollment support for other FIU Student Success Programs and events as needed. Reports directly to the Assistant Director.
  • Coordinates the success course registrations, enrollments, and student eligibility verifications each semester.
  • Assists with monitoring and tracking student course completion, deliverable submissions and outreach to non-engaged students to provide data to the Assistant Director.
  • Oversees the execution of email and phone marketing campaigns for the success courses and serves as liaison with units, departments, and colleges across the university to increase student enrollment in the courses.
  • Monitors the status of department programming records and digital files. Coordinates the organizing and maintenance of team spreadsheets and online instructor toolboxes for success course programs.
  • Maintains the success course teams calendar of events, activities, and appointments.
  • Arranges all weekly event communications to SLS students via email blasts. Maintains records of students enrolled in the FIU success courses, as well as spreadsheets of prospective students.
  • Administers the operational and financial activities associated with coordinating the success courses Human Library Events and student workshops. Analyzes post-event feedback survey data for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provides Student Success Course team with support in tracking the logistics of the First Year Experience (FYE) Instructor Certification Process by monitoring instructor benchmark compliance on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborates with the divisions marketing team to finalize the branding content and distribute congratulatory letters and certificates of completion to FYE instructors meeting requirements each semester.
  • Analyzes student feedback survey data for course quality improvement initiatives to provide data to the Assistant Director..
  • Responds to student and instructor inquiries as needed by managing main departmental inbox.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all communications, career development opportunities, and events related to success courses student weekly announcements via Canvas.
  • Serves as the liaison between the success course team and FIU Alumni office in coordinating the planning and logistics for the SLS Panther Alumni Week efforts.
  • Supports, coordinates, and facilitates the development of the Canvas course shell copies and updates for the SLS 1402, 3407 and SDS 4340 courses each semester.
  • Assists with the faculty license activation, distribution, and training for success course game-based learning platforms. Oversees the semesterly exporting and review of data reports to provide data to the Assistant Director.
  • Updates and maintains tuition calculation for FIU alumni enrolled in the post-graduation course for reporting purposes.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.
