Deputy City Clerk
Position Available:
PART TIME DEPUTY CITY CLERK for the City of Hudson (pop. 2546 as of 2023)
Hourly Salary $18.00-$22.00/DOQ/with benefits/30 hours a week.
Duties, not limited to utility billing and water meter interface, first line contact with any customer interaction, assisting with functions of council, committees, and boards, managing information distribution (business cards, government channel, website), accounts payables, managing record retention, attend training, back up to City Administrator/City Clerk as need, ability to establish effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, council, mayor, contractors, engineers, and the public.
Knowledge and Skills of Deputy City Clerk: Reading, writing, math skills, basic computer skills, and office equipment comprehension, ability to work with minimal direction and support from outside of the normal office structure, quick learner.
Entry Level Preferences: High School or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D), Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe
Preference is given to individuals who have experience in municipal government.
