Position Summary

Austin Peay State University Department of Communication is seeking temporary, part-time adjunct faculty in the areas of Public Speaking, Journalism and Public Relations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Teach Public Speaking, News Reporting, Intro to PR depending on the needs of the department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Physical Requirements

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Required Minimum Qualifications

- MA in Communication or related field with 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated success as a teacher preferred.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
