Administrative Assistant
Regional / local electrical contractor is immediately seeking a full time administrative assistant for our Waterloo, Iowa office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answering phone, email correspondence, problem solving with coworkers, vendors and customers.
Daily minimal travel for post office mail collection and bank deposits.
Open and sort all mail, process vendor invoices, purchase orders and packing tickets.
Maintain customer job cost files.
Union employee timesheet collection and payroll entry into software system.
Work directly with management on customer monthly billing.
Assist with local new hire processing and safety training.
Work directly with internal project managers, accounting and external customers.
Accuracy is essential. Previous contractor experience preferred and beneficial. Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word required. Wage range of $19-$22 based on relevant experience.
